Meet Harley

For those of you who have never been to our house, I want you to meet our "Pride & Joy" Harley. Named solely on the fact that I've always wanted a Harley, but Sarah refuses to let me ride a motorcycle.

We got Harley almost 3 years ago and he has literally become like a child to us, as ridiculous as that may sound. I have never seen another dog like him. When we bought him, we expected him to look much different than what he looks like. His breed is an Olde English Bulldogge, which looks a lot like a typical bulldog without short stubby legs and a smashed in face, but as you can see he looks like a boxer/bulldog hybrid. We're glad he turned out the way he did, I like having a unique dog.

He goes from acting like a 2 year-old to acting like he's 84. Pictured below looking like my grandfather waiting impatiently for the mail to come.

He goes to bed at 10 o'clock sharp and never wants to wake up in the morning. He's hyper and then immediately lazy. Sleeps well over 50% of the day.

Since I've started working from home, he's become like a co-worker. He keeps me company, even if he's curled up in the chair snoring. He also likes to "pose" in front of the backgrounds when I am setting them up, which can get annoying, but sometimes makes for some good photos.

Perfect Example....

I've also started a tradition of dressing him up for Halloween (I know...absurd. I don't care!)
We usually send out a "fall" greeting card.

Here are the most recent two.

Well...I've gotta go. Harley just woke up from his afternoon nap (shocker) and has to go to the bathroom (again...shocker).
